Welcome to the Advanced Revolution of Esports

Video game publisher Konami has expanded its operations, entering into the esports hardware scene with “Arespear.” As reported by gameindustry.biz, the “ARE” in arespear represented “Advanced Revolution of Esports.” This is also a plays on Ares, the Greek god of war, a competitive branding suited for the esports industry.

Items for Sale

Arespear currently sells gaming keyboards and gaming headsets. Gaming PCs are up for reservation, with a targeted September release date.

Digital Storefront Access: First Impressions

Upon checking Arespear’s website, it seems that the brand caters primarily to the Japanese gaming market, with no option to ship globally. First off, the language needs to be translated into English. As seen in this example, the gaming keyboard arespear k100f details are all in Japanese. A quick google translate to English solves this problem for non-Japanese readers.

Not much has been disclosed as to the type of keyboard, except for the non-contact type switch. The item sells for JPY 32,780, roughly PHP 15,303.

Once you’ve clicked the purchase button, arespear will link you to Konami style’s checkout

The Arespear C700+

The Arespear C700+ is the maxed out version of the three system units for reservation in its website. The C700+ has a core i7–9700 CPU with an Nvidia RTX 2070 Super to boot as its graphics card. It is currently priced for reservation for a JPY 338,800 price tag or around PHP 158,200.
